A software developer has recreated Iceland’s capital region in the style of the popular Grand Theft Auto (GTA) video game series, according to a report by mbl.is. The project lets anyone explore a digital version of Reykjavík and surrounding areas through their computer.
Hauk Rósinkranz, a software engineer, began working on the GTA-inspired capital region about two weeks before the story was published. He completed the digital recreation in a notably short time, making it accessible for anyone with a computer mouse.
