Guðmundur Felix, an Icelandic patient with a notable medical history, has experienced a setback in his cancer treatment, Vísir reported. He underwent surgery after being diagnosed with cancer in his nose, with doctors successfully removing the tumour during the procedure.

He had been scheduled to receive radiation therapy after the surgery. However, the planned treatment, due about two weeks ago, was postponed when doctors discovered what they considered might be a new tumour. It has not yet been reported what doctors specifically found or what the next steps in his treatment will be.

Guðmundur Felix himself commented on the situation, saying, “The hands don’t want anything to do with this ‘cancer guy’,” according to Vísir. The quote is translated from Icelandic.
