Four out of twelve families living in a residential building at Línakri 3 in Garðabær, a town in Iceland’s Capital Region, are raising twins. The unusual concentration of twins in one building has attracted local attention, Garðapósturinn / Kópavogspósturinn reported.
Together, these four families account for eleven children living in the building, eight of whom are twins. Remarkably, three of the families had their twins after moving into Línakri 3, suggesting the concentration emerged after they became residents.
The fourth twin family became part of the building during the summer. No further details about the children or families have been released.
