TAP Air Portugal will begin operating direct flights between Iceland and Portugal from April 2027, flying between Keflavík International Airport and Lisbon. The announcement was first reported by mbl.is and confirmed by a press release from Isavia, the national airport and air navigation provider in Iceland.
The new route is set to run from 1 April 2027 until 28 October 2027, with three flights per week scheduled between Keflavík and Lisbon throughout the summer season. According to Isavia, TAP Air will join 28 other airlines that have announced plans to fly to and from Iceland’s main international airport next summer.
In its announcement, Isavia said TAP Air’s Lisbon hub will give passengers to and from Iceland improved connections to a wide range of further destinations. TAP Air Portugal is the latest international carrier to strengthen Keflavík’s seasonal links with major European cities.
